Have you ever heard this Evangelical question?

A short rant

I grew up around a very specific set of Christians. They weren’t merely Evangelicals. They were the type of Evangelical Christians who existed more in the world after death than in the world of right here and now. My heroes growing up were Jim Elliot, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, and Richard Wurmbrand. If you’re not familiar with Evangelical lore, all three of these men were martyrs. Missionaries and ministers who died for the sake of spreading the gospel — or in the case of Bonhoeffer, fighting Nazis.
