A Reflection on Being Wrong

Time and time again, I am reminded of my own fallibility.

So often, in the midst of difficult conversations, I catch myself being so quick to speak and so reluctant to listen. Racing to be the first, my words trip over themselves, as if to remind me that my mouth has outpaced my mind again.
